Description

The original Alfred Hitchcock Presents / The Alfred Hitchcock Hour aired from 1955 to 1965, and during those ten seasons audiences around the world enjoyed the 359 episodes of mystery and suspense that had a kick in the “tale”.

In 1985, television boldly presented a contemporised version, in which a then-new colourisation process would bring Alfred Hitchcock back to life to introduce these updated thrillers. Attracting a cast of vintage and upcoming Hollywood talent and filmmakers, Alfred Hitchcock Presents was introduced to a new audience, airing four seasons between 1985 and 1989.

At last, this 12-disc DVD Limited Edition collection brings together every episode from the revival series for the first time, book-ending one of television’s most successful and enjoyable franchises. Season 1 includes the original feature-length television movie pilot containing four stories, with the syndicated versions of those stories also presented as separate episodes.

Housed in a collectable Hardbox, plus a 120-page booklet with an essay by Martin Grams, Jr. and Patrik Wikstrom, and a complete episode guide.
