Description
A film critic obsessed with the film Casablanca, seeks to get over his wife leaving him by dating again with the help of a married couple and his illusory idol, Humphrey Bogart. Woody Allen and Diane Keaton's long-term collaboration began here, a comedy following a recently divorced film critic who sees apparitions of Humphrey Bogart's Casablanca character Rick Blaine. Based on Allen's hit Broadway play of the same name, the film adaptation was helmed by Academy Award-nominated director Herbert Ross (The Turning Point), featuring a supporting cast of Tony Roberts, Jerry Lacy and Susan Anspach.
